The Mokokchung district administration in Nagaland has approved an alternative road from Mokokchung to Dimapur which would pass through Mangmetong village in Mokokchung district, Sanis in Wokha district and to Dimapur. The project was approved in the monthly meeting of Mokokchung District Planning and Development Board held on June 7.

‘Developers can’t use toll money to widen highways’

The Union Highway Ministry, while favouring a proposal to restructure premium paid by developers to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), has put in a few caveats.
