NTPC has signed fuel supply agreements for 14,010 MW capacity to be commissioned by March 2015. Creation of new state of Telangana provides further opportunities for NTPC to set up new power plants to meet the requirements of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. NTPC will set up a 4,000 MW power plant in Telangana. During the year NTPC crossed 43,000 MW capacity; current installed capacity is 43,128 MW.
