Arun Chandran, Managing Director – SynergiZ Global Services Private Limited & Project Director -(Parsons Brinckerhoff)- L&T Hyderabad Metro Rail, has over 17 years of management and engineering experience in design, installation, testing and commissioning of major infrastructure projects in varied sectors like aviation, rail & metro, telecommunication facilities, highways and buildings. He has expertise in contract strategy and management, risk management and interface management using 3D modeling techniques, construction management and program management and has worked on various complex major projects in different geographies like USA, India, Maldives, Taiwan and Vietnam.

.He has held senior management positions at Parsons Brinckerhoff (PB) where he headed the Aviation division for PB’s Asia, Australia-Pacific and Southern Africa regions and also led their Rail & Metro and Project Management Services divisions for their India business. As the Project Director for the Delhi International Airport Terminal 3 project, he played an important role in successfully completing the project in record time. He has served as the principle in-charge for various other Parsons Brinckerhoff projects and is currently the Project Director for the ongoing Hyderabad Metro Rail and is also overseeing all activities and client relations on other ongoing Parsons Brinckerhoff projects in India (Delhi Metro Ph III and Bangalore Metro), the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) project, the High Speed Rail feasibility project and Air Traffic control Tower, Delhi. The clients look to him for his leadership skills and for his proven ability to develop strong working relationships, for his acute understanding of project and client requirements and his dedication to ensuring project success. Arun is a civil engineering graduate from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani and has a Masters in Construction Management.
