Adani Petronet Dahej Port, the solid bulk cargo handling port on the west coast of India, has achieved the benchmark of dispatching the longest cargo in a single piece. The heavy equipment project cargo handled for Isgec Hitachi Zosen was a quench tower, weighing 383 tonne and measuring 101.6 m in length, making it the longest cargo handled at the port. The cargo was transported on single ply of 42 SPMT axles from the port’s storage yard to South berth of Adani Dahej Port.
