L&T bags EPC order in Bangladesh
Larsen & Toubro has received two engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) orders valued at around $480 million for setting up dual fuel-fired gas-based com-¡bined cycle power plants in Bangladesh. One order of $280 million, has been received from Marubeni Corporation Japan for setting up a 360 MW Bheramara Combined Cycle Power Plant Development Project.

Tata Power forays into South Africa
Tata Power expects commissioning of its two South African wind projects, having total capacity of nearly 229 MW, by fiscal year 2017. Tata Power, which has an installed generation capacity of 8,560 MW, is developing the two projects through an equal joint venture with Exxaro Resources.

Ansals SEZ project
Ansal Properties and Infrastructure has revived its plan to develop a 75-acre IT special economic zone (SEZ) in Greater Noida and will invest about Rs 130 crore over the next three years on construction. The IT SEZ was notified by the Commerce Ministry in 2006.
