Proposal to expand 5 km stretch of Kanpur’s GT Road

It is proposed to convert a five kilometre stretch between 414 km and 419 km of GT Road of Kanpur from the present two lane to four lane road. The district administration of Kanpur Nagar on November 13 sent a proposal in this regard to the Union Road Transport and National Highway Ministry.

India Infrastructure Finance Company (IIFCL) has expressed confidence that during the current financial year it would be able to achieve its target of raising Rs 10,000 crore. Railways nod for launching SCLR girders in Mumbai

To start launching girders for the delayed Santa Cruz Chembur Link Road (SCLR) project in Mumbai, the Central Railway (CR) has finally given permission to the two infrastructure agencies. The nodal agency Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) and the implementing agency Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRTC) have been waiting for issue of blocks (time for work) by the CR since March this year.
