Mandaviya takes over as MOS

Mansukh Lal Mandaviya has assumed the charge of Minister of State, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways and Shipping from July 11, 2016. He is a BJP MP (Rajya Sabha) from Gujarat. Mandaviya has been Member of various Parliamentary Committees like Committee on Petroleum and Natural Gas, Committee on Chemicals and Fertilizers, Select Committee of Rajya Sabha on the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Bill, 2013 and also National Welfare Board for Seafarers. Earlier he was Member, Gujarat Legislative Assembly from 2002-2007 and Chairman, Gujarat Agro Industries Corporation Ltd from January 2011 to March 2012.
